Which imaging modalities has HeartLab been designed for?
HeartLab has been designed for use with cardiovascular imaging including: echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, vascular ultrasound, and nuclear cardiac testing.
Can I migrate existing studies from my current system or hard drive?
Yes, HeartLab can take care of this for you during the onboarding phase.
Do I need to download any software to use HeartLab?
HeartLab’s cardiology imaging platform is all browser-based (also referred to as ‘in the cloud’) and so there is no need to download any software.
What machines are supported by HeartLab?
We have designed HeartLab to be vendor-neutral and have worked with all major machine vendors including Philips, GE, Siemens, Mindray, and Samsung.
Is HeartLab a mobile solution?
HeartLab’s cardiology imaging platform is entirely browser-based and can be accessed by most connected devices, e.g. laptop, iPad, desktop computer and supports remote workers.
What is the pricing model for HeartLab?
Our goal is to put HeartLab within reach of as many cardiology practices as possible - regardless of size. We charge a monthly subscription together with a per study fee, enabling clinics of all sizes to access the latest cloud-based innovation to improve patient care. Is there a cost for implementation and onboarding?
HeartLab generally includes onboarding for new customers as part of the subscription cost (subject to project complexity). Our entry level plan: Flexi, includes virtual onboarding and training for your team, plus guidance on report templates, and system setup. Our Business and Enterprise plans include bespoke sessions with our team on report templates, best practices and more, subject to the Statement of Work agreed upon in your contract.
Do I pay for upgrades, maintenance or support?
HeartLab operates on a subscription model (software-as-a-service) that provides access to the latest version of the application to all customers. Subscriptions include automatic updates, new features, maintenance, and support directly from us, all included in the price of your subscription.
Is HeartLab secure?
HeartLab adopts Secure by Design principles, is SOC2 Type II certified and HIPAA compliant.
Can I send reports to my EMR/EHR?
Yes, HeartLab supports HL7 connectivity to talk natively with your PMS, CVIS/RIS and EHR/EMR systems. We can also use SFTP to place finalised reports in a specified folder on your server if preferred.
Does HeartLab use AI in its software platform?
HeartLab partners with companies including Us2.ai and Ultromics to provide you with AI integrations.
How long will it take from signing the contract to rolling out HeartLab to our team?
For small to medium-sized practices, our new customers are typically up and running within just a few days. Larger practices may take several weeks depending on the resources within your practice, and any migration and onboarding needs.
