This August 2025 release expanded HeartLab’s imaging support and introduced a set of workflow refinements. The features and availability described below reflect the release at publication; contact HeartLab for current availability in your region.
CT support in Australia and New Zealand
HeartLab added CT imaging support for customers in Australia and New Zealand. The release included multi-planar reconstruction views, adjustable slice thickness and intensity projections, independent crosshair movement, and CT-specific performance optimisation.

Create studies from PDFs
The release introduced PDF-based study creation, allowing teams to review and report on documents such as ECGs, referral letters, and external reports within HeartLab.
Paediatric Z scores
The release also added Z score support for paediatric studies.
Additional workflow improvements
- Flexible study sharing — Study links can be shared for longer periods.
- Interface refresh — Dialogues and pop-ups use a more consistent visual treatment.
- Image-resolution control — Users can switch between original and optimised ultrasound views.
- Synchronised viewing layouts — Grid layouts stay aligned across tabs and windows.
- Preliminary-report watermarks — Draft reports are visually distinguished from final reports.
